International : Privacy Policy PROTECTION FROM INITIATION STAGE - The protection and safeguard of personal information collected from candidates is PARAMOUNT to Career Path Pty Ltd and our staff when gathering information from candidates. This includes initial registration with us, evaluation of skills, when job matching and on submission of details to our clients. RECORDS - Further personal information of temporary or fulltime members of our staff collected or generated as a result of our recruitment process, is also safeguarded and protected from access by unauthorised individuals. We will only ask for and record, personal information that will help us to place candidates in the jobs best suited to them, and we will not pass on any personal information without the consent of the candidate or the referee. Personal information passed to us by clients will be treated in the same way. PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION - We will make every effort to make your personal information secure once on our systems. However, because the transmission of your personal information cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we do not warrant the security of personal information transmitted in this way. DELETION OF INFORMATION - Personal information held by us is available for review by the individual in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act. Likewise, you have the option of having your details deleted from Career Path Pty Ltd’s database at any time. INFORMATION NOT SOLD - Information collected by us will not be sold, rented or licensed to anyone else. When the information is no longer of use to us, we will destroy it in a manner that protects the privacy of the individual. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION - We require you only to give us personal information that is a) relevant to the job you are applying for or b) that you want us to use in finding you a future job. If you provide such information we understand you want us to use it for this purpose. If you give us more than this required information, we will not use it in our dealings with our clients on your behalf. WHAT CONSTITUTES PERSONAL INFORMATION - Personal information will be collected from you directly when you submit an application and in the following circumstances: USE OF YOUR INFORMATION - Your personal and sensitive information may be used in RELATION TO: a) your application or placement in a contract, temporary or permanent job; b) your performance appraisals; c) our assessment of your ongoing performance and prospects; d) any test or assessment (including medical tests and assessments) that you might be required to undergo; e) our (or our client's) identification of your training needs; f) any workplace rehabilitation; g) our management of any complaint, investigation or inquiry in which you are involved; h) any insurance claim or proposal that requires disclosure of your personal or sensitive information. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL AND SENSITIVE INFORMATION -Your personal and sensitive information may be disclosed to a) our clients / your potential / actual employers; b) referees; c) our associated companies and subsidiaries; d) our insurers; e) a professional association or registration body that has a proper interest in the disclosure of your personal and sensitive information; f) a Workers Compensation body; and g) any person with a lawful entitlement to obtain the information. INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR SUITABLE PLACEMENT - Any information we request from you is to assist us in finding you suitable work. If you do not give us the information we seek we may be limited in our ability to find and place you in suitable work. ACCESS TO INFORMATION - The Privacy Act sets out your rights to see and have a copy of personal and sensitive information about you that we hold.
